For a film with some very predictable outcomes, the ending of this movie was perhaps the least expected ending I have ever seen. is this at all _base_d on the video game? Dead or Alive (Sony Playstation)

http://www.imdb.com/_title_/tt0221111/ (warning: spoilter hints) For a film with some very predictable outcomes, the ending of this movie was perhaps the least expected ending I have ever seen. One other unexpected part was a scene involving the cop's pornographer informant. Before I realised what was up (partly because reading sub_title_s can distract from visual details), the pornographer's assistent was jacking off a dog in preparation for it to be mounted onto a woman who was waiting naked on the floor. I wonder if the Western censors cut some of that scene out, as the scene changes at the point where the dog is about to be positioned. However, this is nothing compared to Visitor Q . Again, I wish to mention the ending of this movie. I'm not about to tell you how it ended, but I am interested to hear if anyone else saw this movie and/or can recommend other movies whose ending is completely unexpected. I've seen Visitor Q ! Yeesh ! I'm glad I watched it but probably won't again Takashi Miike is my longshordurperslave. I Like: The Happiness of the Katakuri's (Remake of Quiet Family, which is also excellent but it's a black comedy not a horror musical) and MPD Psycho Which was a TV series he made which is unfortunately pixelated all to fhuk but worth a looky nonetheless. and Gozu Which is excrutiating but absolutely bonkers and has THE MOST unexpected ending I've seen in a long, long time.

You English Gents are rude because you made me look at some of these movies. I've seen a couple of Miike movies now, and no matter how hard I wash, I can't get them out of my mind sometimes. Have any of youse seen Suicide Club? That's another sik flik. I don't know if it's by the same guys or not, as all Asians look and sound alike to me. They have some funny ideas about what parts of pr0n are OK to show and which parts aren't, which further disturbs me because I'm expecting US pr0n rules, and getting something different which is also disturbing on another level. Too much of some things, not at all any of others. [*]
