WHAT DO WE DO?  Manage a data_base_ of health promotion (HP) professionals: 1.      Recruit health promotion professionals, enhancing our data_base_ of professionals who are currently seeking new opportunities and those who want to receive information on products and services focusing on health promotion. 2.      Notify job seekers of employment opportunities appropriate to their education, experience and preferences. 3.      Provide a rapid and direct method for Health Promotion service, product or event providers and promoters to educate and  inform the HP field. Provide employment resources for health promotion related conferences. Some of the conferences we have provided services for include:  American Journal of Health Promotion         Maryland State Association for Health, Physical Fitness, Recreation and Dance         Association for Worksite Health Promotion, Region II         Pennsylvania State Worksite Health Promotion For conference services are free to anyone wishing to post an available position with us or those who wants to display their resume for review.  We also provide follow-up service to both seekers and employers, offering them the opportunity to be included in our data_base_ system.   When choosing which conferences to attend, our services are often one of the deciding factors for potential attendees.   Our standard fee for service is airfare to the conference for two.   HOW DID WE GET STARTED? Since 1994 the founder of HPRI, Michaela Conley,  has developed and managed job fairs for professional conferences such as the American Journal of Health Promotion and ?.   Michaela's direct involvement with HP professionals and employers has naturally evolved into this much needed resource. Our goal at HPRI is to assist health promotion professionals worldwide in locating employment, to provide support to organizations in the recruiting process, and to keep professionals in the field well-informed .   In addition to our E-mail services, HPRI has partnered with WellTech International, an Internet site for the HP field, to provide an even broader scope of resources. HOW DOES IT WORK? For employers and advertisers: 1.      We E-mail an HPRI registration form to you.  This provides important information to help us meet your individual needs.  Once this form is returned to us: A        Employers complete a Position Announcement Form (PAF), choose your selection criteria and distribution timeline.  We then distribute your announcement to the entire data_base_, or a portion there of, _base_d on your search criteria:  Masters level candidate, 5+ years experience in hospital-_base_d health promotion. B:      Organizations seeking to inform or promote events, products or services complete an ESPF form. including your selection criteria and distribution timeline, i.e. once per month for six months. Your information is distributed to the entire data_base_, unless otherwise requested.   HOW IS THE PROCESS COMPLETED? 1.      Individuals may respond directly to you with resume, response form, request for catalog or more information,  etc. 2.      HPRI can field responses and forward information to you according to your requirements.  For example, an annual event needs volunteers, we can collect and forward the data to you. A.      For an additional fee, data can be entered into the format of your choice and forwarded to you on disk.    . WHAT IS OUR FEE STRUCTURE?
